This newly renovated bungalow in Whitefish Bay, WI was ready for a traditional landscape design. With an existing front walk and backyard raised deck to work around, sophisticated bedlines and a corner hammock patio were key elements of the design.
Bluestone was used in both the hammock patio and as stepping stones leading to it. Slate chip mulch was also implemented under roof overhangs where planting was not feasible. We love using these two materials together as they offer a clean, modern feel while also being quite traditional in nature.
Evergreen and deciduous shrubs were used to provide privacy screening and year-round interest, while blooming perennials create a lush garden sanctuary to be immersed in. Our client wanted as much fragrance as possible so plant were chosen accordingly. Scheduled for installation, summer of 2023. Check back for photos!
