The conceptual landscape design for this newly built home in Glen Carbon, Illinois capitalizes on its modern style and adds year-round plant interest.
A linear approach was used to expand the design around the existing concrete front walk. Moments of circular geometry were added to embrace an existing round patio and incorporate it into the rest of the plan. Retaining walls help to reinforce the linearity of the design while providing support along the sloped site. The existing swimming pool and concrete patio in the back yard are enhanced with planting beds that add both privacy and color all year long.
