This Spanish Colonial home had been remodeled over the years by multiple owners. Our clients bought it and wanted to bring the landscape back to a cohesive whole after many random landscape updates had occurred with previous owners. This was the third home they worked with us on for a landscape design.
The mature existing landscape along the driveway and front portion of the property was lacking in interest so we inserted pockets of new plantings. All of the foundation beds around the home were redesigned with updated plants, and the existing front planter walls were rebuilt to stabilize them. At the front of the home a new bluestone outdoor foyer was designed with lannon stone borders.
The backyard needed the most extensive renovation, We designed an expanded new bluestone patio with lannon stone inlays and borders. Stone planter walls against the home were rebuilt using new stone. An existing stone grill island as well as a stone fire pit were both relocated into more appropriate locations, with new bluestone paving in both areas. New landscape lighting throughout the property was included in the design. Installed in 2021 - check back for photos of the completed project!
