Our clients bought a recently constructed modern home on the east side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The builder had put in minimal planting beds with marginal plants. We were hired to create a landscape design for the entire property while keeping the existing front walk and deck. For the front yard we designed expanded planting beds that played off the architecture of the home. Our design also corrected the front patio area which was not installed properly.
Much like the front yard, the builder had put in minimal planting beds with marginal plants in the backyard. Our design added bluestone steppers to connect the front yard to the existing composite deck through a gate in the fence. All new plantings with columnar trees for privacy screening were included along with low voltage landscape lighting.
