Our client who is an art teacher wanted to revamp her existing landscape that lacked any visual interest. This Shorewood Tudor on the east side of Milwaukee, WI had a lot of character to draw from. For the front yard we designed a new flagstone front walk and sitting area with brick details to compliment the brick home. All new plantings and low voltage landscape lighting were included.
For the backyard we designed a new flagstone and brick dining patio and fire pit area. Stone steppers create a path to the new patio. A redesigned shade garden occupies the side yard. The plant palette was continued to create a cohesive overall planting scheme.
