Conceptual landscape design for a recently remodeled midcentury modern home in Fox Point, WI. The concrete walkways were existing and we were able to save or transplant some of the existing plants in the front yard. Our design gives more definition to the planting beds and plays of the strong lines of the home, highlighting some of its architectural features.
For the backyard, our clients expressed an interest in placing a hot tub in the middle of the existing deck. We suggested placing it out on the edge of the deck so we could still incorporate a linear gas fire feature and allow the deck to be a more useable space. A concrete patio with beach pebble runnels creates added space for dining or lounging. The side and back plantings are all new.
