Mid-Century Modern Front Yard - East Lansing, MI

This mid-century ranch in East Lansing, Michigan needed a landscape update. The butterfly roof was our inspiration for the angled bedlines. Ornamental grasses in beach pebble mulch play off the linearity of the home. We added 30" square stone steppers to create an entry path to the front walk that doesn't take guests through the carport. A mixture of long blooming perennials and flowering shrubs round out the plantings. LED, low voltage lighting highlights the two trees and the new stepping stone path.
