Transitional Pool & Landscape - West Bend

For this recently constructed home in West Bend, Wisconsin, our clients wanted to create the feeling of a backyard resort around a new swimming pool. After reviewing many pool design ideas with them, we designed a custom shaped pool with integrated spa. A natural hillside allowed us to create a natural stone waterfall built off the end of a stone retaining wall with steps. A beach edge to the pool was incorporated near the existing deck. A gas fire pit area was created at the end of the pool opposite the waterfalls. A pergola was placed on the far side of the pool, centered visually on the existing deck. Birch trees, upright junipers and tall grasses add privacy from the neighbor to the north. Low voltage landscape lighting throughout adds to the resort feel.
