Traditional Landscape - Shorewood, WI

For this project on the east side of Milwaukee, in the suburb of Shorewood, we were tasked with updating the front porch and landscaping to match a recently completed patio in the backyard. We matched the bluestone paving and limestone borders so that when completed, the project would read as one cohesive whole. All new plantings were designed, working around the two mature ornamental trees. A new stepping stone path connects the expanded front porch to the driveway.

The main focus of the backyard design was adding a fire pit area. Since a new driveway was already in the cards, we took that opportunity to propose additional limestone steppers through the driveway to visually connect the fire area to the existing patio. Seven Son Flower trees were chosen to frame the fire pit patio, creating a backdrop with seasonal interest. New plantings and low voltage landscape lighting complete the backyard design.

Project installed in spring of 2020 so check back for photos of the completed project!
