Mid-Century Inspired New Home Landscape - New Berlin, WI

Our clients followed the mid century aesthetic in furnishing the inside of their new home so we let that style influence our design the the hardscapes and landscaping. For our conceptual design of the front landscape for this newly constructed home in New Berlin, WI, we wanted to create a unique front walk since it would be relatively long. The long angles of the walk and plant beds make the front yard feel larger than it is. For the conceptual design of the backyard landscape, the angles of the front yard are carried into the the patio and plant bed shapes. With a partially exposed basement, the change in grade allowed us to include stone steps that lead down to a separate fire pit patio.
