Traditional Backyard Deck + Landscape - Pewaukee, WI

The existing wood deck attached to our client's home in Pewaukee, Wisconsin was deteriorating and dangerous. They had seen a circular deck in a magazine ad and asked if we could design something similar with composite decking. Prior to beginning the design, we contacted our preferred carpenter and verified that a composite deck with overlapping circles was feasible. They also wanted to save the two existing large Norway maples. Our deck design includes three spaces for dining, lounging and a lower fire pit deck.

A shade garden under the maples and an island planting bed for privacy screening was also part of the design. Deck installed in 2017 with plants scheduled for Spring of 2018.
